Some voids can never be filled...

     It was a chilling winter morning. She woke up at 4.30. She went downstairs and occupied all the space left over behind him. Yes, it was not too much, but could accommodate her. She wrapped him completely with her limbs and fell asleep immediately. She was studying in high school and had to attend her early morning tuition classes. They would start by 6 am.

     By 5.30, her mom woke up and went to her room, searching for her, but found her missing. Wondering where she could have gone she came downstairs and found her sort of hiding behind him. She was astonished to see her there. She had found her chubby girl almost crushing her husband (who was physically so weak, who could not even move any of his body part on his own, who could barely utter any words, whose whole body was almost completely wasted.) With her limbs. She said to him, Aren’t you in any pain?  Your fluffy girl has almost crushed you. “ They both chuckled. “ Are you able to bear her? “
On this, he said just one thing, with a huge smile on his face, “ Every man in this world is not blessed with such chubby daughter and yes, she can never cause me any pain.” And looked into his wife’s eyes with all his love, his faith.

     She was hearing all this conversation by lying over him, cuddling him. She still can’t forget that moment. He was the father who had loved his daughter knowing no bounds, who had tremendous faith, belief in her.

     But today, there is a void that he left in her life. The blissful palm is missing. The faith he had in her, that drove her every step, is missing. That man is Missing, the man of her life is missing. But it’s the bitter truth, voids created by people can never be filled up, ever.
